New Jersey MENTOR was established in 1990 to provide needed home and community-based rehabilitation services to adults recovering from an acquired brain injury. Since our inception, we have expanded these services to incorporate programs for people with disabilities and children with emotional and behavioral disorders.
Today, New Jersey MENTOR offers – more... an array of specialized community-based services throughout the Garden State. Whether the need is for intensive, short-term treatment or an extended care program, New Jersey MENTOR provides personal, caring, goal-directed services, carefully designed to meet individual needs and preferences.
To best meet the changing needs of people we serve, MENTOR offers the following:
Therapeutic foster-care and clinical treatment services for children with emotional and behavioral disorders;
Therapeutic treatment homes, community-based group homes, and structured day programs for adults and children with developmental disabilities. Neuro-rehabilitation for adults and adolescents with acquired brain injuries provided in the individual's home and community or in one of three community-based residential treatment options. We also offer individual pre-vocational and job training programs and a structured therapeutic day program.
