My manager would set the tone for the work day on what is to be accomplished, he gave me lattitude to get this done, I never felt I did not have good support, I felt as the day would unfold that we worked very strongly as a team. He treated me like and assistant manager and was always honest about things that were brought through the department. If ever their was a misunderstanding on my part, it always made me feel bad especially if I delayed accomplishing the objective. When at the end of the day, all objectives have been met, thats a good day for me.
