Overall it was a very nice place to work. The pay was a bit under industry standards but the benefits made up for the lower pay.

Fast-paced forensic and toxicological testing laboratory
Senior Analyst - GC/LC (Former Employee), Willow Grove, PAMay 18, 2014
Pros: friendly and extremely educated laboratory staff, great benefits, a lot of laboratory events
Cons: mediocre compensation, high demands with lack of resources, little room for advancement within company
Typical day became very redundant, but learned a great deal during my 7 years spent there. Excellent place for entry-level professional work. Management is a tough subject - many who are beyond skilled and others who I'd argue are not. Some Supervisory staff is a pleasure to work with, others are not. Laboratory staff is highly educated and work together as a team.

Good place to start a career in analytical chemistry
Analyst II (Former Employee), Willow GroveMarch 26, 2014
Pros: great people, on-site gym, tuition reimbursement, decent salary for recent grad
Cons: work weekends, work holidays, shift can be changed at any time, expected to put work before personal life
A nice place to start for a recent college graduate, which most at NMS are. The salaries are okay but a lot of the benefits make up for it for most young people including health benefits the day you start, bonuses and tuition reimbursement as well as 401K. For most people the grind of working holidays and weekends all the time along with the smaller pay increases as you ascend the ranks, make the life span of most employees tenure about 3 -5 years.
