Modern day slavery
Certified Nursing Assistant, East Glen - February 28, 2015
A typical day at East Glen is oppressive. You come in & at the time clock are new policies posted ,in which administration has came up with or decided to strictly enforce at the moment. In the past year they have stripped away all incentives from their employees. The only job well done, pats on the back etc for staff come from the few grateful families whose loved ones reside there. They used to have a rewards point program, Employee of the month program, and gave $40 gift cards during the Christmas holiday, but now its nothing! The Lpns"charge nurses" are a joke! The only time they move from their perch is to pass meds. God forbid they would actually be forced to do patient care. If you have a problem it's best to skip the chain of command all together because whatever you tell your supervisor will be used against you in the future. Administration's main concern is dollars and cents. The only time they leave the comfort of their office is when there are state surveyors in the building. The Cna's at this location are the heart and soul of this location, but they get treated like dirt.
