Medical Assistant, Santa Rosa, CA - February 6, 2013
a typical day at work for me is opening the back office making sure everything is stocked and ready for patients to be roomed. I learn new things every day, how to take care of your skin and to protect yourself so in the near future you wont be having any types of skin cancers. The management there still needs more work it is a new office so there is alot to do and revise and control. I get along with all of my co-workers we make a great team but i would love to have more hours. The hardest part of the day is when it gets very busy and their is only two medical assistants in the back office so things can get pretty hectic when the doctor calls out biopsy and there is an excision to be made in the next room. The most enjoyable part of the job is at the end of the day everyone gets together to help each other out so that everything and patient information is all in their charts, rooms cleaned, re-stock rooms, and wash tools.
