For a front end web developer position, I had 3 back to back one on one interviews, each one hour. The interview questions were so similar between the 3 people, by the last person I got confused a couple times bacause I couldn't remember if I was repeating myself or not! Maybe it was a mind game;)

I filled out an online application and personality test. If you pass the test you may get an email to set up a phone interview in a week or so. The phone interview consisted of basic conversation skills. Just be friendly, listen carefully and sell yourself.
After this I was asked to come in for a face to face interview which discussed the ins n outs of the business and was offered the position on the spot due to my appearance etc.

The interview process was quick, I was reached out by HR, and I made an appointment. I went it, had my interview, walked the sales floor, the stock room, was asked basic questions, and was given a quick review on the overall culture. Interview was about 30 minutes long, heard back the following day, and I was on the sales floor within a week.

They ask general questions like "why Nordstrom"..."do you know the companys history"...then take you onto the floor if the interview goes well and they ask you to sell them something. By now you already got the job but you sell it and then they call you back for training.
