Closeouts Administration Manager (Current Employee) – Costa Mesa, CA – March 8, 2016
There is no typical day, it changes all the time. Co-workers are mostly pretty decent, the hardest part of the job is the leadership and culture changes. Most enjoyable part of the day is working with my team.
Unsupportive management, low pay especially for women
Measurement & Verification Report Coordinator (Former Employee) – Westborough, MA – March 14, 2013
I worked for NORESCO for 3 years and left for another position in the marketplace. Management is not supportive and over the past couple of years there has been a practice of laying people off and adding the work load to other employees without any financial reward for this change. This is especially prevalent among women. Most employees are very nice but it is a very quiet environment where working through lunch is expected. Very little camaraderie among employees and more importantly it is not encouraged. Was a much better place in 2010. Think long and hard before you enter into a position here in my opinion. They have lost a ton of good employees over the past year...
good group of engineers, good location
poor management, very tough work environment for women
Remote Maintenance Control Operator (Current Employee) – Atlanta, GA – July 11, 2013

Human Resources (Former Employee) – Westborough, MA – August 8, 2013
Very little work and life balance. Tend to preach about culture and values but seldom practice it. Typical day at work consisted of bullying, belittling and constant discourgagement. There was often lack of teamwork and support when needed. Upper management showed little to no concern on how to make it better.

Computer Programmer (Former Employee) – Westborough, MA – March 9, 2012
Noresco is a company that works a small company the way each department works together to get the work finished. Noresco is owned by a large corporation which gives they the backing to succeed on large projects. Employees can move between departments to learn different jobs and fill in the gaps when needed. As a result of working between departments employees are better off to help each other out when needed. This type of co-operation between employees and department makes Noresco a pleasant and easy place to work.
NORESCO is great company. What makes NORESCO unique is their ability to engineer and implement turnkey energy solutions that meet each customer's individual needs. At NORESCO, they pride themselves on the excellent relationships they maintain with their customers.
