North Florida Regional Medical Center provides a full spectrum of services for cancer patients; PET/CT and CT planning, pathology, surgical oncology, medical and radiation oncology, inpatient and outpatient nursing services, therapeutic rehabilitation designed for the cancer patient and a Cancer Resource Center. Our multidisciplinary cancer committee – more... plans, directs and evaluates the cancer program to insure that advanced medical and treatment technologies are available . Our hospital-based Cancer Registry collects and monitors data in strict confidentiality for use by medical professionals. The data is used for treatment planning and evaluation, outcome measurement and planning. This allows our hospital and medical professionals to design treatment protocols, educational seminars and to provide information that will assist in obtaining resources for the cancer patient. Our board-certified Radiation Oncologists offer state-of-the-art treatment combined with a personal touch and your comfort in mind. Our treatment center offers external beam radiation treatments, prostate seed implants (brachytherapy), High-Dose Rate After loading, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), and 3D conformal treatments.
