North Star offers a continuum of care designed to specifically meet the unique needs of children at any given stage of childhood and adolescent development. Our highly specialized team of doctors, nurses, therapists and other professionals work with you to ensure quality behavioral health services. We also work closely with those you trust in your own community so that children and adolescents have the support they need to ensure a bright future, filled with childhood growth, fulfillment and joy.
The unique challenges faced by children and teens are different from those of adults. North Star Hospital has four units to address the specific developmental needs of children and adolescents. At North Star, we have a children's unit (age 6-9), a pre-teen unit (age 10-12), an adolescent boys unit (age 13-17), and an adolescent girls unit (age 13-17). Because the needs of children are different from those of pre-teens and teenagers, our programs are structured to meet each youth's skill and understanding level.
North Star Behavioral Health System is committed to providing an atmosphere where children and adolescents can increase an ability to trust others, work through life's challenges and learn skills to effectively face their future. – less – More from ZoomInfo »
