Start rewarding quality instead of quantity. Hold directors accountable and get rid of the ones who can't improve in all business metrics including employee satisfaction. Ex. Unqualified Radiology director can't answer basic questions or improve processes or housekeeping director inability to motivate employees resulting in terrible google ratings for cleanliness. Never going to get a Baldridge Award if you can't hire talented and skilled leadership.
