Pros: Culture, management, benefits, salary and beauty in Northern Arizona
Cons: I worked there during the poor economy and there was a lot of job insecurity and fear of the future
I was an advisor in the college of arts and letters. I had a case load of students who I tracked and made sure they had what the needed to succeed.
It was a very pleasant, low-key atmosphere. We were – more... given as much time as we needed with students and all initiatives centered on improving student services.
I enjoyed my co-workers and management. We received a lot of support and encouragement. I felt appreciated and was given a lot of room to be creative. They gave me a lot of freedom to try new initiatives.
The hardest part of the job was motivating certain students.
The most enjoyable part of the job was the case load system. You were able to work with the same students and build relationships. – less
