Registered Nurse, Johnstown, CO - November 8, 2017
I loved the nurses and aids I worked with, and had the ability to learn from the sub acute patients I cared for. However, management was so cut throat that it made it hard to feel safe at work. Working in the healthcare field, you need a higher up that will have your back when things go wrong. This is not that type of management. Many of my peers reported being "picked on" by management, favoritism was huge in this hospital.Turnover is super high, not surprising after seeing the way employees are treated. Constant shuffling of management, can't keep a DON. Patient care is great though! Really good therapists and plans of care to rehabilitate patients.
