The agency provides excellent opportunity to provide mental health services to members of the community. The salary and benefits offered are at, or higher than, that of other similar agencies. Management is unprofessional and this extends from moderately unprofessional with regard to how situations are handled and communication with staff, to obnoxiously unprofessional with supervisors crossing the supervisor/friend line with their subordinates. And while there are set levels of service delivery standards, there are discrepancies with delivery of those services and how workers are disciplined (if at all) should those standards be violated. Overall, the agency does not value it's employees and the work that they do; but if you can handle not being thanked for the long hours that you will work which are outside of your job description, then you will do fine.
