Northern Lights College

The Fort St. John Campus of Northern Lights College offers a wide variety of educational programs.

The College Preparation, Adult Basic Education and Adult Services and Access programs provide basic skills necessary for further study in both the vocational and academic areas.

There are many vocational programs available including Power Engineering
 – more... and Gas Processing, Mechanical Trades Training (Automotive and Commercial Transport), Land Resource Management, Teacher Education/Teacher Assistant and the Social Services Worker diploma program.

The Early Childhood Education program is offered by distance education and has its offices on the Fort St. John campus.

For those interested in business training, the campus offers the Business Management, Office Administration and Office Management programs.

The International Education program offers high quality ESL instruction to students from Canada and abroad.

For those interested in university level study, the Academic Program offers a variety of first and second year courses in the arts and sciences, all of which transfer within the BC post-secondary system. Students can complete an Associate of Arts Degree on campus. Furthermore, members of the Academic Program are seconded to teach upper-level courses for the University of Northern British Columbia at its regional centre in Fort St. John.

Our campus also offers a wide range of Continuing Education courses. We will also work with local industry to arrange courses in specialized subject areas.

We also offer Counselling and Financial Aid services. Our library offers, in addition to our local collection, electronic searches through the Electronic Library Network. We have inter-library loan agreements with many other BC libraries.
