Manufacturing Analyst (Current Employee) –  Palmdale, CA 93550August 22, 2016
Employer provides a multi-tasked productive environment with very little room for advancement. Immediate management is understanding but the company does not offer a satisfying future of higher positions of employment.

Northrop Ruined This Location
Senior Engineer (Former Employee) –  Cincinnati, OHAugust 21, 2016
Was once a good place to work. Northrop reduced or eliminated benefits. Merit increases are poor, usually 1.5 % if that. Cutthroat environment.
Pros
Very few any more
Cons
See Review, it has degenerated severely in the last 5 years.

One word
It's a great company. I have been aware of this company reputation for some time. And I appreciate that your team’s success is due to number of factors, not least of which is hard work. NG company really treats well to their employees, which is amazing except some bad management.

Northrop Grumman Review
Information Security Engineer (Current Employee) –  Melbourne flAugust 16, 2016
The job is difficult and you really need to know your stuff because it is a very cut throat environment. When in a meeting or making a decision, you need to be able to give a response to answer a question and be 100% confident that its the right course of action because if it isn't, you very well might be dispensable and replaced within the next 48 hours. Very rewarding for those who go above and beyond.
Pros
Flexible hours, work from home (on occasion), pay, environment
Cons
Gossip and rumors like any other job

Great Company to have on your resume
Aircraft Structures Mechanic F35 Program (Current Employee) –  Palmdale, CAAugust 14, 2016
They lack the ability to properly train employees. They tend to look too much at your title and pay to determine if you can do a job vs. the actual talent. This company as a lot of work to do internally.

Productive place with large amount of work but not overwhelming
Maintenance Analyst (Current Employee) –  Redondo Beach, CAAugust 11, 2016
Management is easy to work with , but managers are rotated on a regular basis, sometimes making it difficult to complete projects on time. Otherwise, the organization is supportive of your work and people are easy to get along with.
Pros
not over worked
Cons
benefits are ok

Storeroom Coordinator (Current Employee) –  Annapolis, MDAugust 11, 2016
A typical day of work is fast paced. I must be very flexible as there are many different duties that need my attention. I have very little face to face supervision and must be able to work proficiently on my own to complete tasks.

Some assignments are cool cutting edge assignments in fun locations such as San Diego. But watch out, the project managers can work you like a dog.

Tier II Technical Support (Former Employee) –  Raleigh, NCAugust 9, 2016
Very good company to be employed; great experience and overall a very good learning experience. On a typical day, I was able to resolve different work issues for the US Postal customer base. The hardest part of the job was understanding customers description of their problem over the phone. The most enjoyable part was resolving customers' issues and the gratitude they provided.

Nice coworkers poor healthcare
Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) –  MarylandAugust 9, 2016
These are some of the , no, the worst healthcare benefits I have every had. I hear that they use to have wonderful health benefits but they have taken a turn for the worst over the last four years. You never know how much your doctor visit will cost because they do not have a co pay structure. Instead of paying copays you are responsible for 100 percent of the cost until you meet your deductible, then after it is met you still have to pay 20 percent. Gone of the days of paying 10 20 30 for prescriptions. You also have to meet a prescription deductible first then pay 20 percent of what ever your meds cost. My guest is that the folks that are saying they have great medical benefits never worked for a company that truly had good benefits
Cons
healthcare
