I typically worked on-site at one of our client's place of business. I would work on maintaining and updating a GIS database that NorthSouth designed and implemented for the client. Coordinated with supervisors and the client regularly on projects to improve/add on to the database.
Management was no present daily, they may be at the office or at another site but communicate usually can be done swiftly via phone or email. Co-workers are often busy with their own projects but are always willing to help when needed.
I would say that the toughest part of the job was the commute since I don't live close to the office or client's site. The most enjoyable was the independence and having the opportunity to learn new skills.
