As a New Financial Representative Support Administrative Assistant, your goal is to provide administrative support for new financial representatives. When you help new representatives focus on achieving Granum-level activity and successful Client Building, you help them succeed in the business. Not only does this help the new financial representative, it also helps Northwestern Mutual increase overall retention and maintain the size of its field force, and it also helps enhance future recruiting opportunities. Specifically, you reduce the time new representatives spend on administrative tasks and increases the time they spend on activities directly related to Client Building.

To do this, you would:
*Provide administrative and marketing support to new representatives so they can focus on Client Building activities
*Provide tools and support for referred-lead prospecting (6-step prospecting and 3-step promotion) through the execution of Discovering Your Markets (DYM).
*Eliminate distractions and keeps new representatives focused

Detailed Breakdown of Functions:

Operations Support
*Upload agent case notes into client management database along with assigning next activities
*Create and maintain compliant client file folders
*Creating compliant letters/sending out correspondence and handling incoming mail and e-mail
*Maintain marketing materials for financial representatives

Sales Support
*Pre-check insurance applications and copy them for client files
*Case prep for representative’s mentor meetings including running Life/Disability illustrations
*Conducts regular one-on-one meeting with assigned representatives
*Schedules underwriting requirements with clients and orders medical exams
*Actively manages underwriting process, and follow-up on outstanding requirements
*Prepares policy for delivery and obtain Policy Delivery Acknowledgements
*Prepare materials for initial introduction meeting, and sales presentations
*Process services requests
*Coach representative towards effectively using their time to build clientele; support the activity coaching (quantity & quality) initiative
*Other projects as assigned by Director of Operations

Needs Analysis
*Basic input and report preparation of Personal Needs Analysis system
*Complete re-work of proposals and prepare final reports

Marketing Support
*Initiate feed lists
*Administer Marketing Start-up kit (business cards, stationery, e-mail auto signature, professional profiles, press release announcing new financial representatives, and review of marketing site)

Requirements/ Qualifications:
*Excellent customer service skills, phone etiquette, customer support experience
*Manage multiline phone system
*Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
*Obtain Life/ Accident/ Health insurance license, and FINRA Series 6/63 registration
*Background check

Compensation: $25,000- $30,000 Depending on experience and qualifications
