The food at Nove is fantastic and often times well renowned in the growing city if Saratoga, NY. Everything, apart from the pasta is made from the most raw ingredients and fresh produce. It's a classic Italian American menu, with a fantastic wine list and drink menu. Service is lacking mostly due to unguided potential in a somewhat careless staff. The workplace climate of Nove can best be described as mismanaged. With that being said the staff does a great job at holding it together in their own independent, yet codependent tendencies. It's these tendencies, like assuming responsibilities out of their job description, that keep the place afloat. I have dedicated a number of years to Nove in the name of experience. But in 4 years on the line I have surpassed my ability to deal with the stress that is unwittingly and unnecessarily placed on me. Perhaps one of the biggest reasons I've dealt with these cons to the job is because the kitchen staff all shares a certain comradery.
