NovoEd is an online education company that offers online courses in various areas including entrepreneurship, innovation and design. NovoEd's learning platform is developed by Stanford faculty and students. It differs from other online learning platforms in its integration of social and interactive processes to enhance students engagement and learning.
Over the past year, our platform has been piloted with several courses offered as Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). These courses attracted over 140,000 students from over 150 different countries. Our very first course, a three-month entrepreneurship course, has created a thriving community of entrepreneurs, and has led to the formation of companies in the US, Germany, India, Malaysia, Bolivia, and elsewhere.
In this role, you'll amplify existing interest and conversation around a new way of learning by leveraging the latest social listening and broadcasting tool content. You will also draft and post content across all social media channels while tracking growth in audience engagement, and be responsible for developing and maintaining company-student communication and blog posts, as well as helping to accelerate our community teaching assistant program aimed at recruiting volunteer moderators. Ultimately, you'll help build this dynamic firm's brand and reputation.
