NovoEd is an online learning platform developed by Stanford faculty and students. NovoEd differs from other online learning platforms in its integration of social and interactive processes to enhance students engagement and learning.

Over the past year, our platform has been piloted with several courses offered as Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). These courses attracted over 140,000 students from over 150 different countries. Our very first course, a three-month entrepreneurship course has created a thriving community of entrepreneurs and led to formation of several companies in US, Germany, India, Malaysia, Bolivia among others.

Do you want to build a system that is used every day by people in over 150 countries? Are you passionate about using the web to empower people from Nairobi to San Francisco? Join a team of talented Stanford students, faculty, and alumni and help us disrupt education.

As a member of NovoEd team, you will be building the core platform that powers our collaborative and interactive courses. We are looking for UX designers/front end engineers to help us create a unique platform for education and collaboration.

We use haml, JQuery, SCSS and bootstrap for our front-end. We are looking for UX designers who are passionate about designing a unique online course experience for our students and have the ability to develop required css/jquery libraries to implement their design. Interactional designers with front-end development experience who are passionate to change online education are most welcome to apply.

We offer competitive salary, benefits, and meaningful equity in one of the hottest start-ups in silicon valley to top notch people joining our small team.
