Company treats you well,
Executive Administrative Assistant (Current Employee) –  off-site Washington DCDecember 28, 2015
It is a very busy company acquiring many companies to enhance their diversity. Co-workers are amazing, dedicated people and we shared many lessons of what worked best to enhance our positions. Working at the government, you are very much part of the mission which allows you to feel the dedication to the mission at hand.

It is very fast pace and demanding and I felt very useful and acquired many extra projects because of my personality and skill set.
Pros
Dedicated to the people
Cons
raises are of the past

Great company for an entry level employee
Laboratory Billing Implementation Project Manager (Current Employee) –  Chicago, ILJuly 7, 2016
- Remote work is great for personal reasons but can cause a lot of poor communication between employees and clients

- I was able to gain three certifications while at NTT Data; 1) Professional, Academy for Healthcare Management 2) Certified Scrum Master and 3) Certified Associate in Project Management

- Most co-workers are great to work with and are very willing to help out when problems arise

- Working from home can be very difficult if you, like me, are a more social being and enjoy working face-to-face with co-workers

- The ability to travel for several projects was enjoyable for a short time

Management is a joke.
Instructional Designer (Current Employee) –  Quantico, VAJuly 14, 2015
It's a decent working environment. However, the demands from the client have become very unrealistic.

There are many contractors with years of military/training experience and are looked down upon by many employees of the on-site organization.

The managers have no backbone. They do not back their employees or appreciate their experience.

The salary is okay, but a little low compared to other contracting companies in the area.

The consensus - do not work for NTT Data. There are many other quality companies. Everyone, including myself, are currently looking for other opportunities.
Pros
Decent work/life balance
Cons
Client has unexpected high demands. Managers have no backbone.

Formerly Keane, Inc. when I worked there. Process-oriented, team work-oriented, encouraging, caring place to work.
Delivery Excellence Support Team Analyst (Former Employee) –  Cypress, CAAugust 27, 2015
Keane encouraged me to further my career and paid for education to do so. The managers I worked for were fair, creative, intelligent, and held me to high standards. Unfortunately most of Keane's work was on the East Coast and when the contract I was last on stopped, Keane did not have other work on which to place me.
Pros
Team work, process, advancement, employee benefits
Cons
No work on the West Coast.

Management not supportive or interacted with all employees
Sr. Consultant/IT Compliance Dept. w/Kynect (Former Employee) –  Frankfort, KYAugust 16, 2016
The work day was usually a normal day, but when there were issues they were not acted upon immediately. Co-workers were in most cases young, fresh out of college and inexperienced (first timers). I learned a great deal about the regulations for Health Care. The hardest part of the job was proper guidance from an experienced or seasoned person. The most enjoyable part of the job was working with persons who were on the job for the right reasons.
Pros
Work hours were great

Great place to work with professionalism at its best.
PeopleSoft Techno Functional Consultant (Current Employee) –  Eden Prairie, MNMay 2, 2016
NTT DATA Inc is one of the top IT companies in Service delivery today. It has been one of the finest places to work with lots of exposure to various aspects of the business. Internally, it promotes transparency always with an idea of valuing the employees greatly and with an intent to keep the professional life at its best. With that said, it also provides equal amounts of opportunities for the employees to venture around to find the right area of interests to work especially for freshers joining the company. I joined in as a fresher and I cannot be more pleased than I was with the avenues and the opportunities the company provided.

Principal Consultant/ Senior Systems Engineer (Current Employee) –  Boston, MAMay 4, 2015
Pros

The People here love what they do and are motivated to exceed the industry standard. The support employees receive for self Improvement and skills upgrade are 2nd to none. The benefits for Canada are fantastic. The ability to progress and get promoted is easily attainable for those who want it. The culture is engaging and exciting.

Cons

Colleagues who are not motivated to excel and put in time and effort. If you are not in it to win it and are not self-motivated to be the best, suggestion is to go somewhere else. NTT is for high achievers.

Advice to Management

Management can always improve. however I personally have nothing but great engagement with my management, constant check in's are key. Also providing opportunities outside of semi and annual reviews for feedback are well established within my business group.

Service Desk Engineer (Current Employee) –  Montpelier, VTAugust 25, 2016
Might not be an issue at some locations but advancing is a big issue if your hired in as L1 support, the benefits are terrible the pay is ok at low level positions but may be better at higher positions. The culture at work isn't bad but some management could be improved. No pay raise at least not at all client locations.
Pros
No issue with work/life balance, decent work culture
Cons
lack of advancement, poor benefits, and no pay raises

Growth and compensation
Project Manager (Current Employee) –  New JerseySeptember 1, 2015
Growth and compensation are very limited in this organization. The top being already too heavy, there are very few low level players in this organization. The focus is to hire and promote professionals who are very low in the compensation grade.
Pros
Exposure and opportunity, if you get it
Cons
Growth and compensation. Job security

Not the place if you are look for a Career
Principle Consultant (Former Employee) –  Boston, MAApril 12, 2016
I worked for NTT Data for four years, and with the rebranding from Keane the company declined quickly into a money making machine with little care for the employees. For a recent graduate looking to cut some teeth into an IT career path this may be a good starting place, but once you learn you will realize that there is no career advancement, no training, no raises, no bonuses and very few managers have the skills to actually manage a team.

Above managers are uncaring level of management whose concern it is to drive new business out of the client and putting higher levels of work load on the people that they already have. They will drop a person in an instance if work dries up with no thought to the situation or the longevity of the employee.

HR is a joke, I would never work for this company again, I would not recommend this company to anyone. Work there at your own risk.
Pros
Its a job
Cons
No advancement, no raises, no training, lousy HR, incompetant uncaring management.

Principal Consultant (Former Employee) –  Atlanta, GAJuly 20, 2016
Management is SICK, absent, lack direction, knows nothing about leadership, too much politics by managers who are sucking the blood out of this company. There is no review mechanism for managers to be at par with industry standards and hence there is all thats left are bunch of idiots.
AVOID this company at all cost.

Analyst (Current Employee) –  Farmers Branch, TXSeptember 6, 2016
The pay is great, and the hours are normal 40, but you will be let go suddenly and without explanation, and contradictory to what you've been told by HR when you get hired. The benefits are terrible, no PTO, insurance is a joke.
