Accounting Consultant (Current Employee) – Around the Greater Twin Cities – April 15, 2014
I have been working for Numberworks for one year now and they have been fantastic. They have gone out of their way to ensure that I am reaching my career goals. In addition to ensure my next project is a position I want to work in they have placed me with a mentor from Salo, LLC to help guide my career. They also have CPE courses made available throughout the year.
I cannot say enough good things about working for Numberworks and recommend them to my friends also looking to advance their accounting career.

I was very happy working with NW on five projects. Each project offered a reference upon my departure. I had the greatest success on the last assignment. I contributed substantially in the areas of efficiency and streamlining. The reference from that project, when contacted by a later employer, could not have been any better and was very detailed and lengthy (I requested a copy).
This companies gimmick and marketing strategy - you are an employee of theirs and as an employee you are a career consultant. They do not deal with anyone who potentially would take a permanent job. You have a permanent job with them.
This company claims they will coach you or offer ongoing education should they find you have a weak area. I was called shortly after my last assignment and was asked if I'd be interested in a part-time assignment at a large financial company. I was not thrilled with the part time and asked to have the weekend to think it over. There would be no interview and I would be placed directly on Tuesday. I called on Monday and said yes. At that point the rep told me NumberWorks was no longer interested in working with me. EK explained "I was good, but not great and they needed great". No other explanation provided. NumberWorks is negligent in even mentioning mentor ship as far as I am concerned.
This conversation occurred over two years ago with NumberWorks. I am still using the marvelous references the clients offered up. Not a total loss. Just don't be fooled that this company is any different than the other temp firms out there. They just have a gimmick that in time willmore... wear itself out.less
I worked for Numberworks for multiple assignments and I have to say that it was very enjoyable. Not only is their staff friendly and readily available, but their ability to place you quickly is a reason why I would recommend them to my colleagues. They have OUTSTANDING skill advancement classes, and they make sure to do everything they can to help you succeed. Their culture is outstanding and they communicate with you often to make sure you are comfortable and are reaching your objectives. They truly care about their workers. They send you a birthday cake on your birthday which to me is above and beyond what other firms do. Very good firm to work with if contracting is what you want to do!
friendly staff, industry knowledge, skill advancement classes, regular communication, excellent benefits, cakes for your birthday, quick contract placement between assignments
