Child Protective Specialist, Brooklyn, NY - February 3, 2016
This job consist of long work hours, maintaining updated documentation for case records. I've learned that you view everything according and from all different angles. This job has taught me so many life lessons and how to think critically. It has also taught me to be great at making decision. The management team and coworker very support with the case work. The hardest part of the job was removing children from their homes due to parents not being able to care for the child. Not being able to reach a parent was the hardest part of the job. the most enjoyable part of working for ACS is knowing that you were able to save that one family from repeated abuse or neglect and provide community and preventive service to help the family with their healing journeys.
