OBS Financial Services, Inc. (OBSFS) is an outsourced investment management provider to Financial Institutions around the country. OBSFS is dedicated to helping Financial Institutions and their Wealth Management programs take their business to the next level of profitability and growth. We consult with Financial Institutions’ management teams, their investment advisors and trust officers to provide fee-based investment management products and platforms that grow business effectively and profitably.

Our experienced staff is dedicated to delivering solutions based upon the Financial Institution’s unique challenges that will assist in successfully growing their client base and Managed Assets.
OBFS currently has an opening for a member of the client service team in at our headquarters in Whitehouse, Ohio. This position will report directly to the President. The client services team works with the sales team and with the clients. The following describes the actual job activities and requirements necessary for the position:

Job Responsibilities

  • Serves as liaison between Account Relationship Manager and back office support staff
  • Organizes, updates, and files client documentation
  • Continuously contacts new and existing clients with the intent of establishing strong relationships
  • Researches and gathers materials
  • Assembles various reports for clients and the sales team
  • Maintains and retrieves database information
  • Completes forms and requisitions with the various clearing firms
  • Assists with special events
  • Provides information to external and internal customers, including policies and procedures
  • Provides training and support to new clients through webinars and teleconferences
  • Interacts to resolve operational issues with other internal employees
  • Identifies process improvement items and recommends solutions

  • Associates degree or higher in Finance/Financial Services and/or equivalent experience (2+ years of financial services experience).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experienced background with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Good understanding of industry language and terms
  • Assertive and positive attitude
