Oak Orchard Health provides comprehensive, quality and affordable health care and wellness services for our communities, meeting the needs of each child or adult patient through excellent medical, dental, and optometric care, and outreach services.
Oak Orchard was founded by the University of Rochester as a migrant health project in 1966. Oak Orchard Community Referral, a forerunner of the present Oak Orchard Health, was incorporated in 1973 to assume those efforts. Oak Orchard Health has grown and now operates four community health center facilities, a Mobile Dental Unit, and a Migrant Mobile Health Unit.
One of the greatest strengths of Oak Orchard is its ability to attract physicians to rural areas without burdening them with the substantial cash outlays necessary to establish an office and build a practice. If it were not for these community-based facilities, patients would be forced to travel to distant cities to be treated in larger, less personal settings for greater expense. – less – More from ZoomInfo »
