No job advancement and if you enjoy do the same thing day in and out, the job is for you!
Social Worker (Former Employee) –  Dearborn, MIJuly 30, 2017
Social Workers if seeking variety or rewarding experiece, not the place.
Only thing you learn and do is petition for mental health.
Management does not have a clue what Social Workers do and will discipline you based on staff input.
Hardest part of the job is being apart of staff of Social Workers in the ER department.
There is a turnover of Social Workers on regular and consistent basis.
Pros
Beaumont does have free food for employees.
Cons
Expectation by staff is to work thru breaks

worked there for to many years (Former Employee) –  Dearborn, MIApril 14, 2016
Poor, poor, and, poor in everything. Horrible work environment, management is very poor. They over work you and there is no appreciation. The floors in the areas where I worked never got washed or moped, toilets are cleaned only when JAACO visit the hospital. Coworker and supervisor smock in the car in parking lot with windows closed at lunch and break time.
