The most enjoyable part of my job in Payroll/Accounting Department at Oconee Medical Center, was the satisfaction of knowing I was able to process payroll bi-weekly for a wonderful organization and group of workers.

I liked my job it was stressful. I found that that if you worked hard more was often put on you to do. Too many people not willing to work and do their part to get the work done. Maybe Greenville will do some major house cleaning of lazy people.
Excellent internship opportunity to work within a dynamic healthcare environment
Oconee Medical Center - Health Care Intern (Former Employee) – Seneca, SC – October 2, 2014
Supported three healthcare facilities with projects pertaining to the National Committee for Quality Assurance Patient-Centered Medical Home Recognition Program. As an intern, I learned how to work with management in the health care industry, build interpersonal relationships with the office staff, and successfully conduct a survey with 100 patients. Two objectives I liked most about this opportunity were: interacting with the patients while conducting the patient survey, and developing an evaluation report of the survey findings for presentation to the medical staff.
Ability to be a leader in a healthcare position, directing the office projects, independence to complete my accomplishments, and admirable co-workers
Employment Specialist (Current Employee) – Professional Building – April 27, 2014
Working in Human Resources has given me the chance to experience a variety of different situations and meet many people. We work as a great team and even though I have a heavy workload I love my job. The only reason that I am looking for another position is because GHS is getting ready to take over OMC and they will probably not need another Human Resources department. I learn something new every day and have been very happy in my position.
I have been a long term employee for this organization. While I have worked other places I find that the work environment here is great. For a smaller hospital they offer great services. The staff in various departments work well together and there is a "family" type environment and work relationships. Great company that is struggling with the issues of healthcare that all hospitals are battling.
Great coworkers. Supportive managers and experienced clinical staff.
Routinely has low inpatient census which leads to staff being placed on call or called off
Home Health PTA (Current Employee) – Seneca, SC – March 11, 2013
Good place to work with friendly well-trained staff. I have enjoyed working for this company as all departments are friendly professionals. The hardest part of the job is my commute is 90 miles each direction.
The management of this facility is constantly working to have most updated equipment and medical help for patients. They take pride in being a top employer and have only recently fallen victim of a bad economy.
Loved my job, the office where I worked, and my co-workers. The amount of working coming through the office was managable and interesting. The only downside was limited advancement due to annual layoffs. Due to a 2 million dollar company-wide debt, our department went from 5 members to 1 member within a year.
outstanding benefits package.
unstable environment, in debt with yearly layoffs, seniority plays no role.
