We currently have an excellent opportunity in the Corporate and Marketing Communications department for a Director, Marketing Development & Training. This person will contribute to the productivity of Company’s sales and marketing operations by 1) developing, recommending and implementing product sales training, educational and personal development programs for agents within the PGA and Career channels; 2) coordinating and conducting all Home Office seminars and webinars to support new agent development and product training of all lines, including Life, DI, Retirement Plans, as well as webinars supporting new agent training and orientation; 4) recommend and encourage involvement in industry education programs and achievements 5) lead and coordinate all efforts relating to online training (i.e. ONTrac) on secure producer websites, as well as coordinate company efforts for continuing education training. Includes initial training in areas of product and marketing development and developing prospecting tools. Identify and develop relevant marketing and consumer strategies using needs-based training and educational solutions.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
- CLU or ChFC designation required from The American College.
- Ongoing knowledge and attendance at industry meetings, including MDRT, NAIFA, COW, LEAP or Circle of Wealth symposiums.
- Knowledge of all company products, support services and overall marketing objectives.
- Knowledge of sales and prospecting systems used in industry.
- Empathy, tact and diplomacy.
- In depth knowledge and empathy for Ohio National distributors in all sales channels.
