Ranked as one of Northeast Ohio's Top Workplaces three years in a row - Celebrating 150 years of commendable service!
At OhioGuidestone, we believe that every individual and community is unique and that their needs are different. Because of this, we’ve created flexible, customized programs designed to help children, families and communities, especially those in need. Our innovative, comprehensive programs preserve family relationships, help make children and families more self-sufficient and reduce clients’ need for future social service or court interventions.
Though we’ve changed our name from Berea Children’s Home and Family Services to OhioGuidestone, the most important things about our organization remain the same: our vision, mission and services. We’re still a private, not-for-profit, charitable organization governed by a board of directors in covenant relationship with the East Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church.
The Assistant Director will provide direct supervision of assigned staff, but more importantly will coordinate program & department wide initiatives to improve hiring, supervision, and employee development, ranging from growth within current positions and expanding leadership and supervisory skills necessary to ensure agency success. The ideal candidate will demonstrate and model positive leadership and present the agency in the most positive light with all internal and external contacts.
