PRN – Flexible Schedule (evenings and weekends may be required)
The Home Study Assessor interviews all family members during the home study process. Secures all necessary documents which include but are not limited to: medical statements, fire inspections, background checks, income statements, marriage certificates, and well water test and safety audits. Assist adoption applicants in collecting supplemental information forms, adoptee’s physical forms and vital statistics forms. Organizes all information and writes home study based on observations, interviews and gathered documents
Bachelor’s Degree in social work or counseling with Ohio LSW. Master’s Degree in social work with Ohio LISW preferred. Must be certified adoption assessor or eligible. If assessor eligible must become certified within 6 months.
