About OKLAHOMA METHODIST MANOR
OMM provides skilled nursing services. What does that mean? When a person, whether an OMM resident or not, has been hospitalized for a period that includes at least three midnights, and no longer needs to be in the hospital, but needs further rehab and/or care, he/she is referred to a skilled nursing facility. During the first 100 days in such a facility, – more... most of the patient's costs are paid for by Medicare. (Note: Payment by Medicare does not apply if the patient has Community Care.) That means that although the OMM Health Center is home to many long-term residents, there are some patients who come on a temporary basis, just until they are well enough to return home.
Does OMM have a doctor who comes to the campus? Yes. We have a Medical Director who comes to the campus once a week to visit residents in Assisted Living and in the Health Center. He is also available, as needed, for consultation by phone. All residents are allowed to maintain their relationship with their own physician; however, physicians for Health Center residents must be willing to come to OMM to care for his/her patients on campus.
Does OMM have a therapy department? Yes. Upon a physician's orders, OMM's therapy department offers physical, occupational, and/or speech therapy to any resident on the OMM campus.
Who provides care to Health Center residents? A team of healthcare professionals provides care to residents. Nursing coverage is maintained around the clock by licensed nursing personnel and certified aides.
How is the quality of care measured? OMM has an active Quality Assurance Program that focuses on continuous quality improvement. The Health Center is fully licensed by the Oklahoma State Department of Health. Quality measures for OMM and all nursing care facilities in the U.S. are available on the Medicare.gov Website.
What are the monthly rates for care? Information about rates and charges for ancillary services may be obtained through the admissions office. Laundry and expanded basic cable services are included in the monthly rates.
Does Medicare cover the cost of care? OMM is a Medicare-certified facility. For those that qualify and have benefits available, OMM accepts Medicare benefits assignments.
What types of ancillary services are provided? Onsite physical, speech and occupational skilled therapies are provided for those who qualify. These services are contracted with a leading healthcare service organization and delivered by a team of licensed therapists. – less – More from ZoomInfo »
