Cake production experience is a must; including decorating with icing, fondant and ganache.
Must be able to provide plated desserts
Able to work independently or with a team
Able to lift 50lbs
Bread and pastry production is required
Education is a plus
1-2 years of experience
Determine the day’s bakery production schedule and quantity for each item to be produced.
Oversee the production of the bake shop.
Monitor inventory daily and record items to be ordered.
Measure and mix ingredients to form dough or batter, following recipes.
Responsible for recipe creation and menu innovation.
Proficient at producing pastries, pies, tarts, cookies, and other baked goods.
Develop dessert recipes for special events as requested by chef/management.
