Customer Service Coordinator (Current Employee) –  Newnan, GAOctober 10, 2017
The biggest problem is the lack of communication between management and their employees. In most cases, the employees don't feel secure enough in their positions to bring up problems and possible solutions to their supervisors.
They do have great benefits and their HR is the best.

Hard Place to Work for
Forklift Operator (Former Employee) –  Port Saint Lucie, FLOctober 4, 2017
Definitely a hard place to work for the rest of your life. They do pay well but offer no benefits. If you are just starting out then you can working here short term. However, if you have goals and plans for your life I don't recommend working here long term.

Started working 12 or more hour days immediately. Constantly tired, and management keeps expecting you to give more. Work place culture is good and there is opportunity to learn if they have any time to teach you.
Pros
Decent wage and overtime
Cons
To much work and no personal life

Assistant Plant Manager (Former Employee) –  Louisburg, NCSeptember 10, 2017
This particular worksite was not climate controlled. It is a very dirty job that does not have a good work to home life balance. If you are a family orientented person I do not recomment this company.

Was a company with growth potential Large company with very good employee benifits
Lead Technician (Former Employee) –  Terrell, TXAugust 22, 2017
Typical workday, generally relaxed atmosphere..

What I learned when your too good at your job, you are not promotable.

Management could care less about developing employees for promotion.

Workplace Culture Employees are isolated from interaction of other associates.

Hardest part of the job trying to please management and no recognition for job well done ever.

Enjoyable part of the Job Vacation paydays and weekends
Pros
close to residence go home for lunch
Cons
Low pay, not employee development oriented, career stifling, no bonuses

Outside Sales Representative (Current Employee) –  Cincinnati, OHAugust 18, 2017
Oldcastle is such a large company with over 100,000 employees that no one is important. If you don't like the changes or the new pay structure, then it's best to leave.
