Pros: friendly people
Cons: salary, unappreciated, hours
This was a call center, so the environment was condusive to that. It was a job that I neither liked nor disliked until the end. When I started there, you were treated like a person, but after being bought out by a large company, you were treated more like a number than a person. That is when I decided I wanted more.

Pros: great place to work.
Cons: long days.
Typical day at work included answering phone calls, helping people with there problems.
I learned a lot from this job including, dealing with unruly customers, using my time well, and communicating with people.

Pros: very approachable management

My short time with OLS was great. My training was extensive and I learned alot and was ready to hit the floor when the time came. My management and co workers were the best. We had a great re pore. The hardest part of my job was the commute. I had to drive 45 minutes one way to get to OLS. This is why I did not stay. I found it too long and very expensive. – more... Pros: presents for keeping the clients happy and getting payments from them.
Cons: sometimes we had to stay on the phone after 12am.
It was my first job as an operator and I enjoyed it a lot, even-though I did have some rough times with some unhappy customers.
I had great co-workers and team leaders at OLS.
It was very pleasant when I really could help my customers with paying their bills through phone.

Cons: long hours, terrible seating, dirty workstations, headache enducing lighting, aswell as managment are a**holes
this is the worst job in the world, let me put it simply, "the company pays you pennies to argue with customer about everything, and constantly complain about job performance and not hitting targets, then they fire you with no warning or reason if you do not immediately improve you "quality" regardless of how hard you are trying to do that. and you – more... can not go after them with the legal system because the owner is overseas in Pakistan. overall i would rather shovel s**t than work for them again! – less

A typical day at work is coming to work, greeting your fellow workers, getting your programs ready and taking calls. I learned how to work with computers better. Our supervisors were our "team leaders" and they helped out a lot. The hardest part was not always being able to help the customer because of their situations. OLS (now known as HGS) is absolutely an amazing place to work. The staff and management are like my second family. We always had fun events to keep up work morale, and the support staff is amazing. There are opportunities for advancement and they seek within always. The management listens and is there for you... Personally and in your work life.

Cons: rate of pay very low for the type of work
Excellent Management team, however the rate of pay is very low considering employees on a daily basis get verbally abused by customers every day. There is also very little room for advancement and progess within the company and very little opportunity for any higher position.
