We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our rapidly growing team.

Omnigon Technical Project Managers ("Tech PM's") manage the delivery of software projects from discovery and design through technical development and implementation. Technical PM's must value the details while also understanding the big picture. Analytical thinking in a fast-paced environment is essential. The Technical PM is an enthusiastic problem solver and thrives on being engaged at all levels of the project. As the key point of contact for both the Client and the project team, the Tech PM plays a pivotal role in the success of any engagement.
Responsibilities include creating project management documentation (e.g. Project Plan, Project Charter, Agendas, Issue Lists, etc.), ensuring project deliverables being prepared by other member(s) of the project team (e.g. Tech Lead, Business Analyst, etc.) are being produced and the allocation and management of internal resources.
Tech PM monitors day-to-day activities of the project team and ensure work is progressing as planned. They manage schedules, assets, and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverables dates are clearly communicated, understood and executed upon.
Tech PM's have excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills and a strong attention to detail and focus on task completion. The best Tech PM's have the ability to motivate, support and understand different project teams and can work across several projects or act as the primary Project Manager on a large-scale engagement.
Competency in MS Project, PivotalTracker, Jira or other widely accepted project management, ticketing and common communications tools is required, as is experience with issue tracking and resolution software (e.g. Bugzilla, etc.)
- PMP and/or other project management certifications are a plus
- Experience with working in a professional services-based organizations (e.g. interactive agencies, consulting firms, custom software development shops, etc.)
- A great attitude – no prima-donnas
