Sr. Analog Design Engineer (Former Employee) –  Santa Clara, CAOctober 22, 2015
OV is a relative stable company found 20 years ago. Due to high growth of mobile, it has become one of the biggest camera company. The good thing is that it can give you very professional work experience in the field of image sensor.

Bad experience
Test Engineer (Former Employee) –  Santa Clara, CANovember 10, 2013
Worked as a contractor to hire position thinking I will get the full time offer. The company just terminated the contract in just one month. Later I found out there are 3 contractors me before got the same treatment. It is a bait and switch scheme that they lure you in and let you finish the work and then let you go. That is a very vicious scheme!

The company runs like a Chinese family business controlled by the CEO and his daughter, despite it is a public company. If you don't speak Chinese you will have a tough time to learn your way around. The company also very suspicious of employees so everything you do is being monitored, and also you have to tag out with your badge so they can check how many hours you worked during the day.

It is a company that runs like a startup, so all the decisions are made last minute so expect your assignment and work to be changed any time.
Pros
free cup noodle
Cons
too many, don't go if you are not desparate to find a job.
