Material Handler (Former Employee) – Saint Charles, IL – November 5, 2017
It was a good place to work. I was on one of the 12 hour shifts. Saturdays were rough because not a lot of production is running. But management was easy to talk to, and everyone was pretty nice. There was some drama while I was there, but from what I hear they got rid of those people. There was typically a lot of inter department cooperation so that was nice.
Software Engineering Intern (Former Employee) – St. Charles Illinois – October 6, 2015
A typical day at OMRON for me consisted of working on testing of different electrical car modules. These included multiple different fuel pump modules, and an electronic slip differential module. In this testing I made sure that the software on the module was running properly by doing different types of simulations and by stepping through the code. All of my co-workers at OMRON were very friendly and helpful. They always took the time to help me out if there was something I wasn't sure how to do.
Carousel Operator (Former Employee) – Downers Grove, IL – June 29, 2015
Operating a carousel machine to pick orders. Had to pick up to 12 different orders simultaneously. Primarily worked alone unless it was an extremely busy day then the management would work at my side to operate the second screen to move orders out faster. Hardest part was picking the really small parts, and having the right amount when the parts were small like the size of a bb or smaller. The most enjoyable part was the working alone with no distractions with dealing with the small parts.

Forklift Operator (Former Employee) – Saint Charles, IL – March 30, 2013
Poor managment. Most supervisors are promoted from group lead to supervisor with no degree. Very clean, easy place with A/C to work . But, theres a catch. You have to start as a temp from Aerotek. you wont get hire in thru the company for 2 to 3 years, when you are hired in, you still get paid the same . Poor raises. every employee gets about the same raise. $.10 to $.15 . per year, and some years, you wont even get one.that goes for everyone, hard and poor workers .and they dont have a Christmas party.or even fun activitys for the employee. No one has actully retired from here. Thats a red flag.
very clean place, with a/c
poor raises, no company chrismas party.or fun activitys for employee, same pay when hired thru the company
