On-Board Engineering Corporation is a flexible organization of approximately 300 engineers, designers, architects, and construction managers working out of offices located in Edison, NJ, and Newark, DE. On-Board personnel are also located at client facilities throughout the United States and around the world. Since the inception of On-Board in 1978, the firm has continually provided engineering services to the DuPont Company of Wilmington, DE. On-Board successfully completed over 900 domestic projects and over 120 international projects for the various strategic business units of the DuPont Company. On-Board is currently expanding the firm's client base by offering professional services to a diverse mix of industrial manufacturing and commercial users of Engineering and Design Services. Today that client base extends to over 100 various customers across multiple industries and marketplaces.
In addition to the full-service capability On-Board maintains a division of the organization dedicated solely to Contract Staffing for the technical services industry. This division has grown to complement the "in-house" project function and continued to diversify both the organizations scope of services and client base. It is within this division by which On-Board has launched it's presence into the consumer products, pharmaceutical and refining marketplaces in the last 7 years ultimately resulting in site teams and subsequently our unique offering "Program Management".
On-Board has consistently produced construction drawings and specifications that meet or exceed the highest professional standards of design and safety established by our clients and the industry in general. On-Board incorporates the use of the latest software tools, including 3-D modeling, smart drawings and digital engineering. The project activity experience of On-Board includes engineering / design of facilities to produce:
