Medical Assistant (Former Employee) – Chevy Chase, MD , Olney MD , NW Washington DC – December 27, 2013
Working with On Assignment I was placed at several Medstar locations. Each office operated slightly different than the other all had very pleasant office managers. The Doctors had busy schedules some offices had more down time than others. The Doctors for the most part were very patient during my training and they were ready to teach on any question that I had for them. Most of the co workers were very nice I had learned its better to keep quiet and have general conversations to keep the negative talk from escalating in my direction. The most difficult part of the job was not having any real incentive to accept the position that was offered and some people didn't want to carry their work load so I had do do my share of work and theirs too. The most enjoyable part of my job was helping the patients regardless of what others did and knowing that it is about participating in their healthcare. I enjoyed the accomplished feeling when I completed many tasks by the end of the day. Another enjoyable part of the job is that the work is not hard and that the doctors and office managers were very easy to talk to.
Weekly pay, Kind employment recruiter
Lack of company variety, didn't get the location that I asked for; assignments too far away
