Inside Sales Representative

OnCall is a leading contract sales organization (CSO), providing our pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device customers with innovative sales solutions and high quality field sales teams and telesales teams.

We are interviewing immediately for an Inside Sales Representative.

Position Overview

This Inside Sales Representative works to develop new customers for our Client via the telephone.
The Inside Sales Representative will work with our Client's Marketing and Sales teams to efficiently identify and cultivate new sales prospects for the field sales force.
In this role an Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating product awareness and interest to cultivate productive sales leads for the field sales force.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong telesales accomplishments, proven ability to learn complex technical material with previous healthcare sales experience highly preferred.

Job Description


Consistently exhibits a high level of proficiency and expertise in discussing the client's products.
Consistently executes all assigned sales activities with a high degree of professionalism. Must have the ability to accurately execute multiple tasks and adhere to strict deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Completes all administrative duties in a timely fashion and works within specified budgets.

Lead Development

Responsible for making outbound calls to assigned leads.
Engage prospective customers to generate sufficient product awareness and interest to secure an appointment for a field sales representative and/or to secure their attendance at a product seminar.
Responsible for handling inbound calls generated via promotional efforts.
Handles customer’s inquiries about the Client's product and competitive comparisons.
Works with Client's field sales team as required to transition viable prospects.

Job Requirements

3+ years of experience in telesales.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Prior medical, dental or healthcare product sales experience/knowledge highly preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
