Director of Financial Operations (Former Employee) –  Jacksonville, FLApril 17, 2017
Your work never ends and the management team is awful. Promises made but never kept. The senior management team is always changing and the CFO never stays beyond 2 years at the most.
There is not any career development for middle management due to the senior level management changes that take place on regular basis.

Major Improvement Needed
Clinical Care Coordinator I Nurse (Former Employee) –  Jacksonville, FLApril 16, 2017
1. Management shows favoritism and shows very little interest in ideas on improving as a team.

2. Communication between departments is horrible and makes your job that much more unbearable/highly stressful.

3. Cliques in every department/team and unprofessional.

4. Building downtown need to be renovated due to dirty filthy carpets, bathrooms, insects (roaches). Hectic getting to work and leaving, parking garage traffic is awful leaving work.

5. Turnover is high due to high caseload, expectations, unrealistic goals, low pay. (11 + nurses quit over a 18 month span which is extremely high.)

6. Nurses if you're looking for call center work as a nurse, where you're highly dependent on others before you can get your job done, this job for you, but be prepared to be overwhelmed with high caseloads and unnecessary escalations due to lack of communication of others.

7. My advice, search high and low before you consider accepting employment with Dumb Call!

Dental Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Tampa, FLApril 10, 2017
The Tampa location is 1- Un organized 2- Supervisors are placed in departments without proper experience and most have no leadership skills to lead their department. 3- lack of proper training of new employees leads to extensive issues and delays in the files.
4- dental care coordinators, plan of treatment coordinators., staffing and clinical reviewer are under major stress to meet deadlines and goals. Making these departmens the most stressful and most times unbearable. 5- supervisors ,most of them, ignore yoir request for help but they expect you to do things right away when asked. 6- The departments I listed are placed with large amounts of files and no consideration. Mostly dental and doctor coordinators . You are expected to answer phones, answer emails, meet deadlines , make calls, schedule treatment and meet quotas with specific dolar amounts. They expect you to do it or get fired. 7- high turn around rate. 8- Good benefits is the only great thing about this company. 9- The CEO wants and is planning to turn it to a call center which will make it impossible to Properly manage the files
10- Insurance carriers are being over charged for treatment so the company can obtain a higher gain to coordinate the file
11- injured workers are waiting a very long time for treatment to be approved 12- Supervisors are not repremended for not obeying HR rules (cell phone usage, wearing sneakers, etc) .
13- constant changes being implemented but never leads to positive changes.
In conclusion, Some departments (billing, credentialing, treatment authorization and others
more... ) have a low stress level but dental and doctor coordinators, plan of treatment, staffing and others have a very high stress level which will only increase over time. Overall the company isi not one I recommend to build as a career.  less

AP Specialist (Former Employee) –  Jacksonville, FLApril 5, 2017
i was a contract to hire. However, after three months the contract was ended do to poor and lazy management on the AP team.

i found that in other departments of the company work life seemed better and the managers had more interest in the employees under them. When training the managing staff were great and very helpful, but that became much different after you started. so to speak "thrown to the wolves."

the managers of the AP team seemed deeply irritated to answer any question and had no desire to accept their faults.

to exceed i believe you must become a puppet that is mute. sit down be quiet, do your work, go home, repeat.

remember this is speaking in regards to the AP team.

Turn over is unbelievable, Management doesn't listen!
AR (Current Employee) –  Jacksonville, FLMarch 31, 2017
The turn over is unbelievable, people that have been there 4yrs or 4mths leave, you never know who will still be there when you go to work. Most management doesn't listen to your ideas until it's too late, they brush you off or give you a fake smile as if they're really interested. Your health and your families is definitely not cared about if you need to be off due to that! Benefits are pretty good, pay is ok, but the production goals and deadlines that are put on you makes the pay not worth it! You will go home stressed and worried!
Pros

Company sucks, too much stress, no advancement
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Tampa, FLMarch 31, 2017
This company is really something. Too much pressure, stress. Upper Mgmt has no clue on how to run the Tampa division. All they care about is the money. Mgmt team has absolutely no background in medical or dental, no employee appreciation whatsoever, no advancement, they have their favorites, no help from supervisors, workload is extremely high compared to pay (over 350 cases). Turnover is extremely high. Good employees are lost due to this.
Overall not a good company to work for, would not recommend it not even to my worst enemy.
Pros
None whatsoever
Cons
The entire company

Dental scheduler (Former Employee) –  Tampa, FLMarch 27, 2017
Managers are rude! No team work or organization within this company. Proper training is not provided! My manager would walk right pass me and not greet me at all. The training needs lots of improvement. You basically teach yourself as non team players iterate "That's not my job "

The worst company to work for
Care Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Jacksonville, FLMarch 16, 2017
This company has an incompetent, greedy CEO who cares about nothing but lining his own pockets. Absolutely NO employee appreciation and the leadership team under this joke of a CEO is even worse. Cliquish is an understatement. Middle management are a bunch of wet-behind-the-ear wannabes with no leadership skills and will throw you under the bus at every opportunity. If you're not buddy buddy and kissing up, they'll make work life very difficult and find ways to get rid of you. The work location is a nightmare. I worked for a smaller company that was bought out by this evil company. This only a fraction of the horrids of working there. I advise to stay as far away from this company as possible.

Horrible company to work for
Senior Care Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Jacksonville, FLMarch 2, 2017
When I first started working there, the name of the company was MSC. It was a great company to work for. Then they were bought out and we became Optimal Care. And things changed a little however all in all they were still a decent company to work for. Now after being bought again and changing to One Call Care it is a nightmare. Management is horrible especially in the Transportation and Language department. The turnover rate is horrible and there is definitely a reason for that. I've seen people who has been with the company for 7 to almost 20 years get fired and not given a reason. They have no loyalty for their tenured employees. They also take micro-management to another level. Unless you're friends with management, then you can do whatever you want. While the rest of us can't get a cup of coffee from the break room, or fill up a water bottle from the fountain, or simply use the restroom.
Pros
There are none
Cons
Management shows favoritism, no loyalty to their tenured employees, micro-mangement

Worker's Compensation Insurance Claim Occupation
Customer Care Coordinator II/ Mentor (Current Employee) –  Parsippany, NJMarch 1, 2017
The work environment is not horrible, however it is not the greatest. The work space is fine and one can sit in a cubicle making and taking phone calls in regards to case by case issues or intake of scheduling diagnostic exams for Worker's Compensation claims. The work one manages to do can become complex at times, but keeping in mind that you are helping real people with real injuries is key. The job can drag a bit because the work may be repetitive, however, the ease of relaxing behind a desk can make the transition smooth.
Pros
Free coffee, friendly work environment, flexibility, assistance is always easy
Cons
Moving up is very competitive, broken pay increase promises, micromanagement

Great Place to work with Cons
Scheduling Associate (Current Employee) –  Tampa, FL 33614February 20, 2017
The cons of working here is the unplanned time you are given in the beginning of the year. You receive 48 hours of unplanned time and also accumulate PTO as well. unplanned time is anytime that you didn't give a 24 hour notice for Leaving early, calling out sick that day , etc.. This time is never excused for anything. Me personally i Had to leave a couple days early and take a few days off in the beginning of the year because of some medical problems i was having and this was taken out of my unplanned time even though i had doctors notes excusing me from work. So now i am left with 20 hours of unplanned time for the rest of the year and that is almost impossible to work around. One you go over your unplanned time Your terminated on the spot.

High stress, low reward
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Tampa, FLJanuary 17, 2017
This company has too much management, and everyone has different ideas on how things should be run. Very disorganized, constantly changing, which makes it very stressful and hard to get to really know your supervisor/manager. Stressful work environment, which leads to an extremely high turnover rate based on on industry average. Pay is decent, as are benefits, but it is not enough to make up for the level of stress you are constantly under. The only good thing about my job was my coworkers, there are some really amazing people working for this company, but they are very underappreciated, undervalued and extremely underutilized. This company is interested more in growing it's size and portfolio than about the happiness of its employees.
Pros
Coworkers
Cons
Stressful, not appreciated, micro managers
