Loan Officer/Loan Originator NMLS, Detroit, MI - January 16, 2016
Without a doubt, the best training I ever received in a work-related position. I knew a little bit about the mortgage industry before i started, however they were able to get me to a point where i learned almost every aspect of the business. I learned not only about mortgages, but i learned how to be more organized in my everyday life, learned how to be more confident with myself, and over all, i learned how to be much more professional. I loved the culture, i loved the people i worked with. The hardest thing about the job though was the work and life balance. We were working almost 10-12 hour days during the week and then required to come in most weekends. I really didnt have as much time to spend with my family and friends as i would like. We were on a fixed salary and required to work 10-12 hours a week and with that in mind, the extremely tight FHA regulations made it hard to close a lot of reverse mortgage so the time spent didn't always pay off. However, i did meet a lot of great people and it was an enjoyable experience outside of the hours needed their.
