Job Position: English Teaching Position

Online Korea is a company that offers online video/phone English teaching service to Korean students residing in Korea. We are looking for passionate, dedicated native English speakers who love teaching.

Requirements:

-Some teaching experience required
-College degree required
-Great phone speaking skills with clear pronunciation/tone
-Willing to work odd schedules (due to the difference in time zone)
-6 months min. term commitment
-Average computer skills – be able to maneuver with directions
-Good internet connection – a modem or router with Ethernet wire hook up spots
-Webcam, headset, PC
*Company will provide an internet phone for teaching which needs Ethernet hook up to operate.

Detailed job description:

-Phone and Video classes are available to teach (you can teach either or both)
-Phone classes start with 10min per session / Video classes start with 20min per session (Some classes can be extended due to student’s requests)
-Text books will be available on teaching website. Some students prefer free-talking sessions

Hours:

-Morning Class: Mon - Fri 6am – 10am Korean Time (Sun – Thu 1pm – 5pm PST)
-Night Class: Mon - Fri 8pm – 12am Korean Time (Mon – Fri 3am – 7am PST)
-You can choose to teach both shifts, or one shift.

Pay:

-This is a contract position with commission based. You get paid per student you teach throughout the month. No hourly wage.
- No benefits will be provided by the company.
-3000 Korean Won per 10 min phone & video class (due to the internationality of the job, the pay rate will be converted to USD)
-Bonus available for high performance employees
-Paycheck will be provided via Paypal, on 15th of each month for the previous month class.
-One week non-paid off days per year
