Worked with this hospital for a few years and kept hearing 'it'll get better' or 'bear with us, we are transitioning'.
As a nurse, we worked consistently short staffed. Often times we didn't have CNAs, or secretaries and we had to flex up to accommodate more patients who were sicker and more demanding.
The pay was lousy, although you will hear that they are 'competitive' with other hospitals. Raises are few and far between. No holiday bonus, just a turkey.
Employees have been told during mandatory meetings that they are replaceable.
The staff is great considering the conditions they are required to work under and that is the only positive for this hospital. Sadly, the staff get the short end of the stick because of poor hospital administration. Staff gets overworked, over stressed and repeatedly put in dangerous situations because of the policy and politics of the administration.
staff truly is the gold mine of the facility.
hospital is filthy. administration needs to be restructured from top down. pay is a joke.
