Software Engineer (Senior Principal Consultant) position available at ORACLE AMERICA, INC. in Redwood Shores, CA. Lead and implement Enterprise Performance Management and Business Intelligence delivery projects in Financial Services based on the Oracle Financial Services Analytics Products. Prepare, write, and develop detailed relational database designs to be used in the implementation of the Oracle software applications. Design and build Funds Transfer Pricing cash flow, non-cash flow methodologies, and Funds Transfer Pricing adjustments such as Liquidity Premium, Basis Risk, Breakage Charges, Option Adjusted Spread/Convexity costs. Manage technical aspects of multiple strategic studies and undertake large scale, complex strategy and design efforts. Model cash flows of contractual maturity instruments with portfolio prepayment assumptions and model variable rate instruments. Participate in the preparation of project proposals, develop system and user documentation, and train end-users. Analyze business needs to help ensure the Oracle Financial Services Analytics Products meets customer objectives by combining financial services industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Requirements: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance or related field followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job or in a financial software related occupation. Experience must include: 1. Designing and implementing Enterprise Scale Performance Management Reporting and Profitability platform(s) using Oracle Financial Services Analytics Application (OFSA) product; 2. Functional knowledge of Funds Transfer Pricing, Capital, and Cost profitability methodologies 3. Designing and building Profitability Management (PFT) cost allocation methodologies, such as, Constant, Static Driver, Leaf, Field, Dynamic Driver, Static Driver Table, Lookup Driver Table; 4. Designing Profitability Management (PFT) approaches, including data element sourcing, data transformation design, business rule/cost allocation rule design, build and testing; 5. Designing and building balance sheet and income statement allocation rules that support management reporting; 6. Developing software to accomplish data conversion and interfaces to and from other systems; 7. Providing Extract transformation and loading (ETL) rules for instrument level data sourced from legacy application systems into OFSA. Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
