Lab Technician (Former Employee), Monroe, LAJanuary 29, 2015
This is a fast paced, high call volume office with superior patient care. Customer service is at its highest. They are very pleasant to work for. You have to be a fast learner and be able to think fast. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Productive and fun place to work! Great, Knowledgable Staff!
Lab Tech (Current Employee), Monroe, LANovember 14, 2012
Pros: flexible schedule... understanding
Cons: nothing negative really.
My typical day at work involves arriving early, setting things up, turning everything on, making sure the right instruments are on trays and ready for surgery, testing the sterilizers, sterilizing instruments – more... and gauze, etc. I have learned so much working at Oral Surgery Associates. It has a well managed staff. My co-workers are extravagant; couldn't ask for better! The hardest part of my job, I would say is when surgeries change. There really isn't anything negative or hard about my job. The most enjoyable part of my job is staying busy and multitasking. It was challenging at first but I'm a fast learner. – less

Pros: pay and benefits were exceptional

Very busy. Professional atmosphere. Everyone cooperated to get the job done!
The hardest part was the commute.

Loved the job, co-workers not so much
Front office (Former Employee), Ruston, LaJuly 25, 2012
I enjoyed the work I did for this office. I was there by myself running the office three days a week. We saw patients only two days a week. I would open the office and get everything ready for the day. – more... I answered the phones, made appointments, check patients in and out, billed statements, verified and billed insurances, handled and posted payments, sent accounts to collection, made office deposits, ordered office supplies, etc. I was also the last person to leave in the afternoon. I was the only person working the front office. The one thing that isn't great about this office is some of the co-workers and the office manager. You had to be careful what you said around them. They would twist your words to try and get you in trouble. Before I was let go, four employees had quit in a six month period because of the office manager. The dentist knows this also. – less

Pros: taking care and helping patients
Cons: some patients you could not make happy no matter what you did;
I ran the office for the doctors. Greeted patients, set up appointments, took payments from patients and Insurance companies;
