Working at the university where I took classes was great. They worked around my schedule and were focused on helping me succeed in the future. They allowed me to develop technical skills and the skills necessary in groups for life, they allowed me to work in groups, design aspects of our experiments with a little guidance and write reports on our work with quick and helpful feedback. On a typical day I would work in a lab setting with fume hoots, plenty of counter space, easily accessible glassware and our own lab coats and goggles. I worked with 15-30 other students but our instructors still managed to answer questions and assist when needed.
