As you may have heard, Orgill, Inc. has agreed to acquire certain assets of Wright & Wilhelmy Co. effective 03/31/2006. I'd like to address what this means to you, as a current Wright & Wilhelmy customer.
In many ways, you will have the best of all worlds: Dealing with people you know and trust who are now able to bring you tremendously enhanced service, assortment, and pricing options. A number of key Wright & Wilhelmy sales and management staff will be joining the Orgill team, including Darcy Michalek, Harold Ronnfeldt, and the entire sales force. Each of the sales representatives has already completed a full week of very rigorous training and they are prepared to discuss the advantages and the process of becoming an Orgill customer.
There are a number of similarities, as well as some significant differences between the two companies. Like Wright & Wilhelmy, Orgill has a long tradition of service to independent hardware dealers. Founded in Memphis, Tennessee in 1847, we are still privately owned, and have provided continuous service to the hardware industry for nearly 160 years.
