Here in Austin, Texas resides the OWC Design Center
The design and marketing workshop of Other World Computing (, a top creator and catalog of upgrades and accessories focused on the Mac and Apple community. We breathe, eat, and sleep Apple products and upgrades.

We’re seeking a “top-talent” web designer to join our design team to make our web presence the best that it can be and more.

If you have the following skills, we’d love to hear from you.

10+ years of high-level design experience and the portfolio to showcase your talents
ability to handle large scale sites and complex architectures
site building / template creation
solid knowledge of information architecture
able to hand code html
building site templates and wireframes with the big picture in mind
in-depth knowledge of navigation techniques and design thereof
polished online banner ad creation
in-depth knowledge and comfort with tech, specifically Apple products
ability to spot gimmicks right away
always learning and hungry for knowledge and to make things better
self critical, humble, but extremely confident in your skills and capabilities
friendly, cordial, and able to work well with others
well written to the point that you mockup marketing copy and headlines in your designs to showcase an idea or thought behind the informative nature of any given design, heck you can write rough copy if needed
knowledgable about industry trends, user experience studies, and best practices
know how to prioritize / juggle multiple high-priority projects at a time while keeping your focus and not compromising on quality... ever
superior expertise in creating and coding html emails and templates thereof
experience with large scale legacy site migration design-wise and strategies thereof
in-depth knowledge of font and design layout trends and capabilities
constantly studies, and self educates to improve skills and designs
excellent decision making capabilities
