Ouidad is expanding our Professional Salon Division and is seeking a Regional Education Manager who will drive and execute education and sales efforts of the Ouidad brand across their assigned region within their professional salon channel. This individual will be accountable for educating and building volume within their territory and delivering account specific sales and merchandising goals in a cost effective manner, while ensuring that the integrity of the Ouidad salon certification and education program is preserved.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Achieve a high level of performance to the education goals of the assigned territory

- Support sales with a complete education system
o Plan and execute education within the professional salon channel. Facilitate Ouidad certification classes within assigned territory. Educate and train team on brand, new products and ongoing education initiatives through Ouidad product knowledge and demonstration.
o Motivate and coach salon owners and stylists to ensure consistency in brand and product knowledge and garner brand loyalty throughout assigned certified salon network
o Coach certified stylists to increase sales and maximize productivity
o Facilitate in-salon events with certified stylists
o Schedule and facilitate regional events to draw multiple accounts

- Establish and develop relationships with Distribution team, salon owners, education leads and any additional key players to keep the brand top of mind

- Conduct exceptional Sales Presentations at distributor meetings and events

- Maintain a territory coverage plan and call cycle to optimize business results and deliver the sales plan across assigned territory. Create strategies to drive sales volume

- Deliver exemplary sales support for the Professional Salon business

o Execute the Territory Plan and Promotional Calendar with assigned Distributor
o Execute the Territory Plan and Promotional Calendar with key certified salons
o Merchandise products for maximum retail impact
o Negotiate terms for placement and space
o Provide instruction on best practices for service and retail

- Support New Business Development
o Provide quality leads for prospecting

- Communicate consistently with the team to ensure alignment of brand with existing and new business
o Set up, launch and grow new business from the opening order forward

- Work independently from home office, while managing a consistent meeting calendar with accounts
o Meet once per month or more with accounts in Tier 1 and Tier 2
o Meet 6 weeks with accounts designated in Tier 3
o Manage to Distributor field support needs based on assigned geography

- Communicate monthly education and sales results to Director of Education

- Report any out of stocks to Sales Coordinator

- Manage business development budgets

- Participate in professional trade shows

- Manage territory travel and expense budget

Professional Experience Required:

  • At least 3 years of regional training experience within the professional salon channel, preferably in a leadership role
  • Minimum 2 years demonstrating, teaching, or presentation experience preferred
  • Proficient in advanced cutting and styling
  • Proven success building an education support team with-in professional salon division
  • Excellent selling and training skills
  • Ability to master Ouidad proprietary cutting, styling and finishing techniques
  • Ability to become expert on formulations, application and product recommendations
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel 40% locally and 60% out-of-state
  • Active Cosmetology license
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
  • Reliable transportation
